Abstract

This research is titled "Formation of Gender Awareness with Assertive Trainning Technique on students of Lakshmi 7 Kindergarten Surakarta". As for the reason why the title was taken is because Kindergarten students are generally a group of children who just feel the initial stage of engaging in a new social environment after all this time. only in a narrower environment, namely in a family environment. The purpose of this study is to establish awareness as early as possible in Lakhsmi 7 Kindergarten Surakarta especially for the children, so that they recognize the gender differences that exist in the culture and social environment around them. With the formation of gender-forming awareness in the long run, one day in adolescence and adult age students of Lakhsmi 7 Kindergarten will grow into a person who displays a mirror of feminism and a mirror of masculinism in girls and boys. The methods used include taking steps in a sequence, starting from identifying problems, selecting actions, formulating hypotheses, writing indicators of success indicators, planning actions, planning data recording devices, and planning reflection data analysis. Assertive Training can be used to increase gender awareness, especially for children who are still young or children who are under five years old or approximately five years old. It turns out that Assertive training can be captured and accepted by Surakarta Lakhsmi 7 Kindergarten students, both female and male. Sensitivity in gender training turns out to be different levels of effectiveness between female students and male students.
