Abstract

A number of factors influence the consumer buying behavior and the impact of these factors may vary from person to person and place to place. The current study focuses on the influence of extrinsic factors on consumer buying behavior. The study has been conducted in Ludhiana, Jallandhar, Mohali, Patiala, Chandigarh and Amritsar. The data has been collected using questionnaires form 100 respondents from each city comprising a total sample of 600 respondents. The study focuses on the highest and least influencing factor amongst all the cities under consideration.
